You’re Here

You’re here!
Just like you promised.
You’re here!
We are so blessed.

You came!
And just in time
You came!
To rescue mankind!

We were lost
With no hope indeed.
We were trapped
And ready to be freed.

You saw us
Hopeless, helpless, and lost
And You compassionately
Made a sacrificial choice.

You came.
We’re so glad!
You’re here
No greater gift can be had!

Welcome Immanuel!

Matthew 1:22-23 (VOICE)

Years and years ago, Isaiah,a prophet of Israel, foretold the story of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus:

A virgin will conceive and bear a Son, and His name will be Immanuel

(which is a Hebrew name that means “God with us”)

Inspired by,

Light

Light came to give light

Light came to enlighten

Light came that we might

Give light

So that our light

Would point the lost and lonely to the only Light

That can give Love.

John 1:1-5

Joy in the Unknown

If you don’t know what you are to be

Or exactly where you belong.

Others may overlook you

And reject the love you have shown.

They may even walk away

Leaving you feeling all alone.

You may find yourself lost

Invisible in the unknown.

But you have something inside of you

A light that must be shown.

Embrace the obscurity and rejection

And remember you’re not the only one

Others have misunderstood.

Many have survived the same storm.

So keep shining your light

So that those who come behind you can find joy in the unknown.

1 John 3:1-3 (TPT)

Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children.

The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him.

The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him.

Beloved, we are God’s children right now; however, it is not yet apparent what we will become. But we do know that when it is finally made visible we will be just like him, for we will see him as he truly is.

And all who focus their hope on him will always be purifying themselves, just as Jesus is pure.

You are a Gift

you are a gift
that many rarely see
the gift so unique
only a few will perceive
that the gift
as wonderful as you
when unwrapped
cannot be described

You may not think so, but you are one of God’s many gifts to the world.

What we see on the outside is the wrapping of a treasure that many misunderstand.

When you open up and set the talented person hiding within free, look out! The world will be in shock, because they didn’t realize what a blessing you really are.

Psalm 127:3 (NIRV)
Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a reward from him.

1John 3:1 (NCV)
The Father has loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are His children. The reason the people in the world do not know us is that they have not known Him.

So Much

I saw the first light of day
The sun greeted me with a smile
The trees waved hello
Birds were singing for miles.

I became more aware
As I took in a lung full of air
I could feel my legs and arms
Throughout the night I faced no harm.

If that wasn’t enough
My room was full of stuff
I was surrounded by walls
And my family was resting safely down the hall.

As I went about my day
I noticed so much more
That I could make a list
Of things to be thankful for.

When night time arrived
I took out my lists
Page after page
Of the treasures that exist.

I added the moonlight and stars
As I lay upon my bed
Smiling in my heart
Thankful that I have no tears to shed.

Psalm 9:1-2 (MSG)

I’m thanking you, God, from a full heart, I’m writing the book on your wonders. I’m whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy; I’m singing your song, High God.

Sing Like the Trees

#artandpoetry

You can no longer hide
Who you were meant to be.
Like the leaves on a tree
You have what the world needs to see.
You have a voice
It’s time to make the choice
To share it so the world can rejoice
And glorify the Creator of the gift you have inside.

Romans 12 The Message (MSG)

Place Your Life Before God

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you:

Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.

Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.

Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.

You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it.

Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Heaven on Earth?

Are you a reflection of heaven on earth?
Or a reflection of traditions passed along at birth?

Do others experience heaven through you?
Or the leftovers of rituals others used to do?

Does the love you share break through brick walls?
Or does your love cringe and run away when trouble comes to call?

Is what you have to give an image of the grace you received?
Or is it clouded by the pain of when you were deceived?

Psalm 32:8-9 (TPT)

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”
